I don’t even know what to do anymore.
It seems like every time I do something, you get mad at me. Every time I try, you completely ignore me. Every time I tell you I feel ignored, you tell me I’m overreacting. What do I do from here? I obviously can’t live up to your expectations, but you can’t seem to actually tell me the truth either. You can’t tell me what you really want, or why you want it. Instead, you leave me here to wonder what did I actually do wrong.. That’s not the kind of person I really want to deal with.
For any of you who have read Delirium by Lauren Oliver: I wish that’s how our world was like. I wish at a certain age, we could take out a part of our brain—the one that gave us the ability to love. That way, people wouldn’t have to deal with the mixed emotions that liking someone gives us. We wouldn’t have to deal with the sadness or anger. I know happiness tends to override it, but when you’re sad, everything just seems to fall apart. I know it sounds absurd. Many of you are probably thinking, “LOVE IS HAPPINESS”. But is it really?
For those of you who haven’t read the novel: READ IT.
